We'll be in Belgium next month, exhibiting at Ter Dilft in a group exhibition. We'llalso be playing a live music set at the opening. Ephameron (Belgium), Joanna Hellgren (Sweden), Louis Reith (The Netherlands), Nick White (UK), Nous Vous (UK) and Ward Zwart (Belgium) show new and existing works, exploring the limits between conceptual and applied arts, between commissions and autonomous work, coming to an accessible mix of digital and analogue techniques. 

We've been invited to exhibit some of work  at Made North, a unique one day conference exploring the roles of design, art and technology in the future of the North. Speakers hand picked from the cream of the creative crop will inspire, provoke and inform an audience of innovators from across the North of England and beyond and lead a debate about what the North can do to ensure great ideas become reality.

Primaries is a group show, featuring work by various artists created in primary colours. We've each selected a colour and will be sending a collection of works to exhibit. 

Catch Up is a series of one-night Graphic Art exhibitions. This exhibition features Jay & one of Nous Vous' closest comrades Hugh Frost. Nicolas will also be playing some music, live, under his musical moniker Glaciers (from around 8pm). For more info follow links below.

A show at Good Press Gallery in Glasgow. GOOD PRESS GALLERY was formed in October 2011 in Glasgow, Scotland, and presents visual art, contemporary illustration, self & independently published zines, books and other printed matter. It's awesome and we're very happy to be showing somework there, check it out!

We had the pleasure of submitting a knitting design to this awesome project. The bad Christmas jumper is as much a seasonal staple as dry turkey and brussel sprouts. However Andrew Salomone and his hacked knitting machine are here to change all that. Salomone has developed an electronic hack, which means he can use a Brother KH930 knitting machine like a desktop printer to transform any design into a unique hand made Christmas jumper. Poems, rants, comics, portraits, bad food, questions, bras, birds, lovely drawings: that's what you will find in Cagoule magazine. It's a bit serious at times and at other times, it's not at all. One thing we know for sure is that it's not like any other magazines out there. We hope you'll enjoy reading it as much we have enjoyed making it. That's a lot. We've all contributed to this lovely document - head over and get one.

Catch-Up is a series of six exhibitions featuring illustration, graphic design and photography set up and curated by Jay Cover (Nous Vous), Tom Pratt and Oliver Shaw(Catalogue) and Sophie Thornberry. Opening on the third Thursday of each month. Each month an artist is invited to exhibit, along with an artist of their choosing, creating a dynamic showcase of artistic talent, exploring cross-over in creative disciplines. 

Panther Club is an awesome publishing imprint, design blog, curatorial project and collaborative label that aims to showcase the forefront of Graphic Arts today. We were honered to have been asked to submit a mixtape for them. William has put together a selection of music for the online mixtape project. Nicolas and William illustrated the first issue of the 'All About Science' series with 'All About Crystals', written by our good friend Chris Hatherill of super/collider, and published by Landfill Editions. It should be available soon from Landfill and it looks lovely in real life!

Some brand new, exclusive Fresh Ones will be popping out of the Baltic this October. We've been commissioned by Design Event to produce limited edition handmade t-shirts and bags for the design event festival. 

Odd Collection is an exhibition of new print work by Nous Vous collective, inspired by and promoting various philosophical and motivational ideas. It is part of an ongoing series of simple, direct graphic prints based on found philosophies, positive thinking, creative processes, everyday experiences and the collaborative nature of Nous Vous’ practice. This exhibition runs alongside Nous Vous’ range of products commissioned for ‘Design Event Presents’.

Spirit of The Animal is a collaborative project between Matt Hodson and Jon Boam. They invited a selection of their favourite illustrators to produce a t-shirt design based on their animal spirit, among which are some humbling(ly) talented mark makers. Jay has represented his internal Dolphin Spirit guide. You can purchase these t-shirt following the link below. 

We were asked by Rose Blake to contribute a playlist to Studio Music, an awesome idea endorsing music. Some great contributions from some great artists we admire. Studio Music provides an insight into the creative process of visual practitioners, through the music that they listen to whilst working. Two new artist playlist's will be added to the site at the beginning of each week.

We're featured in this new publication by Victionary. This book focuses on things that have been designed & produced by design studios for promotional purposes. Featuring some of the best creative agencies around thew world, it's a very nice document, with some really inspiring self-initiated content.

We have some work in this show, curated by Protein and Daniel David Freeman, celebrating the often-overlooked medium of animated Gifs. Featuring work by Parra, Jim Stoten, Colin Henderson, Melvin Galapon, Rhys Coren & Dan Has Potential, everyone was asked to create a Gif, which was displayed on a selection of old TV sets in the space. We were down at the opening for some beers and telly. Nice. Thanks to Daniel for getting us involved!

Our friends at the Frontroom in Cambridge are curating the Designers/Makers market in Hackney, London for the summer and they asked us to get involved. We took care of the first two weekends, followed by some great others.

For our part we set up a temporary 'Fresh Ones' painting studio and made some spontaneous paintings.

Curated by Nous Vous, in collaboration with TestSpace & Laura Wellington. Join us for the first LOOP Arts Fair, hosted at Marshalls Mill, Leeds. For one weekend LOOP Arts Fair will be showcasing some of the most exciting and original applied artists, graphic designers and illustrators currently working in the UK. Artists this year include James Jarvis, TOY, Jez Burrows, Lizzy Stewart, Yoke Books, Nous Vous, Matt Hodson, Analogue Books, Catalogue, Qubik, Drew Millward and more..!

Three Colossal Spaces catalogued so far on the site, including Dan Has Potential's 'Colossal Stones', Supermundane's 'Little Joyful Beast' and Matthew The Horse's 'Massive Peas'. More great artists to come soon including Jez Burrows, Sister Arrow and Luke Best. Exhibitions will resume late July after the space goes on a radioactive field trip!

TOP-UP is a pop-up store, both exhibition and shop, curated by Nous Vous. The space will evolve over its opening period, stocking & exhibiting exciting Graphic Art from around the UK. TOP-UP will feature book launches, product showcases, talks & discussions, and will serve as a taster for LOOP Arts Fair. Jay is going to be using the space as a workshop / studio for the duration. Our next exhibition 'Colossal Tomb' opens this weekend at Dama Aflita in Porto (Portugal). We're really looking forward to having our first Nous Vous show outside the UK. We'll be showing a selection of all-new work including drawings, paintings, prints and sculpture. Colossal Tomb opens 21st of May at 5pm and runs for a month.

The online home of Little Champ Studio - a series of workshops led by Nous Vous at the ICA for parents and children from the West End Children’s Centre is now online on the ICA website. Go and play!

Colossal Space is a 55mm x 55mm x 95mm glass case exhibition space. A hand picked selection of artists are invited to use the space any way they desire. The installation or object can be something found or created. However, as important as the internal space, is the external. For the duration of a one day or night exhibition the space will be placed in a location that is completely of the artist’s choosing, creating a dialogue between the inner and outer. Dark Energy is an installation made up of found objects, wooden panels, dowel, wire, elastic bands, balloons, paint, tape & fabric. We got together in Cambridge having only a very vague idea of we would make. 3 days later, and after a few trips to B&Q we ended up with this! The installation remains in the space as a sort of monument to the process that went into the work. We collaborated on this very closely, exploring our collective intuition and the dialogue between ourselves, the material and the space. Nicolas and William played a short acoustic set at the opening.

We'll be returning to Pick Me Up again this year, running a project called 'Fresh Ones' - creating one-off, hand-crafted objects for everyday living. There will be a limited range of blank objects, such as pots, dolls, tote bags & t-shirts, which we will be hand embellishing in our shaker style workshop.
